We backed up the 7.186 from yesterday with a 7.185 today. I think we built a bracket car! Unfortunately we went out first round of the event so we’re done for the weekend.

We’re at Cecil County Dragway for the Lucas Oil Divisional race. We just made our best pass ever, 7.18 at 185! We’re still at a very conservative boost, the car is making great power!

We took the car out to Atco for some more testing last Tuesday night. First pass off the trailer was a 7.32 at 177 MPH! That was our second fastest pass EVER with the car and we’re still at a fairly conservative boost. Our winter improvements are paying off as the car continues to go quicker with lower boost than last season. The car fouled a plug on the second pass so we didn’t make any more runs. We should be out again soon.

First qualifying pass: 7.67 at 167 on low boost. Great first pass on a bunch of new parts. We’ll start turning it up for tomorrow.

We just arrived at Maple Grove for the Lucas Oil NHRA Divisional event. Qualifying starts later today.

We are putting the finishing touches on the car for the Lucas Oil Division 1 Race at Maple Grove Raceway this coming weekend. We installed a freshly cleaned and matched set of Fuel Injector Clinic Blue Max injectors in the DVDT Fab intake manifold. We also added a new set of beautiful Sparktech coils. Check out how amazing the engine looks:

We took the car to our first NHRA Lucas Oil Divisional race this past weekend. We qualified 25th but had some mechanical problems that prevented us from making the call first round. The next event is the Maple Grove Lucas Oil Divisional race on May 28-30th.
