We just got the car back from Speedpro Imaging of Eastern PA with a great new look for 2013! Speedpro Imaging designed, printed and installed the new wrap for us. A special thanks has to go out to our great sponsors that helped out with this: Extreme PSI, Fuel Injector Clinic, Airwerks by BorgWarner and Manley Performance. Lets not forget AEM, Turbo4, Scott’s Engine Specialties, SparkTech, Kiggly Racing and DV/DT Fabrications. A huge thanks goes out to Steven Cole Photography for these great pictures.

14 hours of driving for 14 seconds on the track, but it was worth it! We’re on our way home from a hot but fun trip to New England Dragway. In qualifying on Saturday, we ran a new best ET and MPH at 7.08 at 187 in the 100 degree heat! Saturday we improved on that number again going 7.04 at 190! The Borg Warner turbo is really getting into it’s groove as we turn the boost up and our AEM systems are working great for an awesome tune. The Sparktech ignition didn’t miss a beat nor did the 12 massive FIC injectors. We couldn’t do this without Extreme PSI, DV/DVFab or Kiggly Racing either! Thanks for all of your continued support!
We also have to thank New England DSM! This was the first NHRA event we’ve been to with DSMers coming out to support us. You guys are awesome!
We got some great video footage at this event with a new GoPro location as well. Stay tuned for that video.

We’re getting the spare motor ready for the NHRA Lucas Oil Divisional race in Epping, New Hampshire this weekend. We’ll be making two qualifying runs on Friday and eliminations begin Saturday. If you’re in the area, come on out!

We had a very successful test session yesterday at Atco Raceway. We made some great progress with our AEM Series 2 EMS system in conjunction with the new AEM AQ-1 Data Logger. With all the additional data logging channels we were able to capture enough information on a single pass to make changes that previously could have taken several passes. On just the second pass out yesterday, we were able to get the trap speed up to 182 MPH in the scorching heat. After that pass my dad and I decided it was a good opportunity for me to work on my cross grade NHRA license. I stepped in and was able to make a 7.45 and a 7.66 pass in the car. What a rush! Previously, the fastest I had gone in the quarter mile was a 9.5 at 149 MPH. Nothing like skipping the 8’s and going deep into the 7’s! I need to thank AEM for all their help with the car to get us ready for our next race at New England Dragway. I also need to thank the rest of the people that help us out tremendously with this car, Borg Warner Turbos, Machined Concepts, DV/DT Fab, Fuel Injector Clinic, SparkTech, Kiggly Racing and CP Pistons. See everyone in at New England Dragway on July 22nd and 23rd. –Tony
